Different number of standard/searchable attibutes between three tenants

Hello Everyone,

My customer recently purchased one additional ISC tenant. The total number of searchable and standard attribute are different in each tenant. For instance, the new tenant has the identity attribute ‘initials’ marked has searchable=true and standard=true. This attribute was pre-defined when the tenant was handed over to the customer. The older tenants do not have the ‘initials’ attribute defined.

The six custom searchable attributes are already defined and can’t be changed. I am wondering if the ‘initials’ attribute can be added to the old tenants and recognized as an out of the box standard / searchable (not custom) attribute available as a correlation attribute. The customer requests the old tenant to have the same number searchable/standard correlation attributes as the new tenant.

Has anyone encountered this configuration challenge?

Hi Eric,

it is true that Initials attribute is added in new tenants, when the tenant is created it won’t be created with same config as your existing tenants, it is just a barebone tenant, you need to configure everything.

  1. You can add initials attribute in your old tenants and make it searchable, but what is the use of it when you don’t have it in your existing tenants.
  2. You can remove the initials attribute in your new tenant, problem solved, Why to have it when you don’t need it and reducing the limit of searchable attributes.

Cheers
Krish
