We are working with the Delimited File connector and need to trigger an email to the source owner when a user is terminated. I have updated the Identity Profile → Provisioning tab to disable the account upon termination.
When I simulate a termination, the ISC creates a Work Item for the Source Owner, but the email is not being triggered to them.
Do we need to handle this use case exclusively through a workflow?
HI @vasanthrajsp29 , that’s right, you need to handle this via workflow. SailPoint will only create manual workitem for the source owner if SailPoint doesn’t have the ability to do provisioning and de provisioning (in case if disconnected applications).
If the Work Item is being created, then ISC should use the Remediation Work Item email template to send the notification. Go to Admin–>Global–>Email Templates and make sure you dont have the Subject prefixed with no_send as I believe that is the template that would be used for the Work Item notifications. We dont use Work Items so we have these set to not send so I am not 100% confident on this but its what I thought I remembered from training/documentation.
