clientMetadata for Access Requests and Service Catalog

Is there any update to this post from 1.5 years ago? We are blocked with our SDIM solution, and being able to access the client metadata in access requests. Is there any way we can escalate it?

Hi Jason. I updated that post with some more information. The engineering team has requested that users vote on the importance of this issue. The idea is here: https://ideas.sailpoint.com/ideas/GOV-I-2228.

This is one of the main reasons we did the approvals in ServiceNow instead of IDN

I would love to see stats on how many ideas make it into the product, and the average time to delivery.

The answer to that question is that there are a ton of ideas that are competing with scheduled roadmap items and only so many engineering hours to work on them. The ideas portal isn’t a guarantee that ideas will make it into the product, but rather a place to track ideas that customers/partners have to improve the product while allowing the community to vote on their importance. When I look at ideas that make it into the roadmap they usually have hundreds of votes. Even though it may not feel like ideas are making it into the product, it’s still important to submit them so the product team is aware of them and can gauge their importance.
