Hi all, understand that out of the box the certifier is a single identity, however, due to our business requirements, the certifier has to be a workgroup which contains one or more members. Based on our testing, the Sign Off Approval Notice Email is not sending out when the certifier selected is a workgroup. Any suggestions to make sending this email to workgroup members possible?
If the Primary Certifier is a Workgroup and it has members, the initial notification will be sent to all Workgroup members. Ensure that the Initial Notification Email Template is configured.
Once the Primary Certifier signs off the certification, the Sign Off Approval Rule is triggered to identify the next-level approver. After the rule returns an approver, the Sign Off Approval Notice Email Template is used to send the notification.
If the rule returns a Workgroup and it has members, the notification email will be sent to all members of that Workgroup.
Yes thanks for pointing out. I found the issue, it is that in my workgroup settings, notification setting is set to “Notify group email only”. I would need to use “Notify members only” instead.
