Anybody knows what govGroupVisibilityEnabled does, in GET / PUT access-request-config?

This page

doesn’t have documentation for the

“govGroupVisibilityEnabled”

boolean parameter which shows up when I GET the current config. I would very much like to know what it does, it could be useful for us.

By the way, if this is not the proper way to report documentation shortcomings, let me know.

Hello Christophe!

Going forward, please tag @developer_advocates on docs related to developer.sailpoint.com and we can get you sorted

I’ll take a look into this one!

The SaaS Docs team handles anything under documentation.sailpoint.com

Seconding this ^ Also very curious what that parameter means.

Thanks for the correction about who to tag, I’ll remember it.

Any update on this specific parameter?

It appears that when this flag is set you will be able to see the members of the governance group during the access request.

Without the flag enabled:

With the flag enabled, under Awaiting approval you will see the members of the governance group who can approve the request.

Great, thanks a lot!

I was hoping it would do something like that, but sadly I don’t have time to activate options and fumble blindly to find out what they do.

edit: this was meant in the context of a principle I hold dear, that one should come to the forum after having done the work as in some exploration/testing, whenever possible.
Upon re-reading it, it can come across as a complaint/attack, which was not the goal (still leaving the original wording there just in case). My bad.

Testing in the dev environment, it doesn’t seem to work:

Is the feature Generally Available? Or not yet released?

Right now, the setting only works for adaptive approvals. In about a month or so, it will be supported for all approvals. We are in a migration process of approvals to a service that will support it. Stay tuned for announcements coming in Dec.
