Would not ACCOUNT NAME change when it is changed in the Authoritative source

Please consider addressing the following when creating your topic:

  • What have you tried?
    Updated First name in my Authoritative source and realized Account Name still remains the old one. I see identity display name changed but not the ACCOUNT NAME. Is this expected? I thought only UID is a unique identifier never going to change. Attaches screenshot below for your quick reference…
  • What errors did you face (share screenshots)?
  • Share the details of your efforts (code / search query, workflow json etc.)?
  • What is the result you are getting and what were you expecting?

The only way we have found to get the AccountName to update on a Cube is to delete the Cube and rerun the HR Source to have the Cube recreated. This in turn recreates the cube with the correct information. And the accounts also correlate to the new cube.
