Windows Local Connector Prerequisites

Hi Experts,

For Windows-Local connector, We have 2 prerequisites

  • Start the remote registry service on the managed system.
  • Allow an exception for File and Printer Sharing in the Windows firewall.

But I see the connection working properly even if we are not enabling the above prerequisites. So just want to understand the purpose of enabling these two.

I need some help in understanding this.

Those settings are required for provisioning or application request to work. Are those working too without enabling these services?
