I am trying to use time machine to test escalation emails. I am using a single url since there is no way for me to access a specific server. I am not able to trigger escalations. May be because the time is being advanced in one server and certs are being executed in a different? Does advancing time using a single server advance it on all the app servers?

Hi @dk0200,

When multiple instances of IdentityIQ are running simultaneously, such as a request server and a task server, time advancement will only apply to actions performed by the same application server. Therefore, to ensure proper functionality, the “Check Expired Work Items” task must be executed on the same server where the Time Machine feature is being utilized.

To perform testing, You can bypass the load balancer and access specific servers directly to test escaltion emails.

Arun

Hi @dk0200,
Even though below given solution is not ideal one. You may give it a try.
If you are having admin privilege, then you check the host on which you are logged by check about part from debug.as shown below and then you can run your task “Check Expired Workitem” on the specific host.
