Which IIQ version are you inquiring about?

I am going to begin upgrading our current SailPoint system from version 8.2 to version 8.4.
With this upgrade, I also need to upgrade our current version of Tomcat and Java. The upgrade for Java and Tomcat is being completed by another team, so I am wondering if I will be able to upgrade Tomcat and Java first, let it sit, and then do the SailPoint upgrade?
Or do I have to do it all at once, while Tomcat and Java are being upgraded, I should also upgrade SailPoint?

If the current IIQ version doesn;t support the newer version of java and tomcat, then you will have to do them at the same time.

I would suggest you refer the product documentation and compare the JAVA, Tomcat and DB version:

If the upgrades are coinciding with the supported version then its a okay to wait out or it will be a collaborative effort wherein you will be upgrading IIQ as well.
