Timeout Error When Connecting SailPointNow to Active Directory

Hi Experts,
I am encountering an issue while trying to establish a direct connection between SailPoint Now and Active Directory. Despite configuring all the necessary settings, I am consistently receiving a “Timeout waiting for response” error.

Could anyone provide insights into what might be causing this timeout error?
OR Are there any specific logs or settings I should review to resolve this issue?

SailPoint ISC will encounter a timeout error when it is waiting for a response from the Virtual Appliance (VA). These errors are applicable to all connectors and will occur during the setup of sources or when sources are down.

Rohit , is probally or the va cannot reach the DC or the Iqservice Machine.

Verify the following things.

  1. Check you forest and domain settings are correct.
  2. Check the firewall port opened and you are able to connect AD from your VA
  3. There might be some delays in the network, so increase the connectionTimeout attribute to some max value

@rohitmisal45 Assuming you increased the timeout, please do following:

  1. Make sure Active Directory is up and running.
  2. Restart your IQServie host
  3. Make sure your IQService instances (windows service) up and running.

Then try testing your connection, it should work if all the configuration done as per documentation.
