The Workday team member full aggregation process has slowed down following the IIQ upgrade to version 8.4p2

Which IIQ version are you inquiring about?

[IIQ 8.4p2]

Share all details about your problem, including any error messages you may have received.

We have upgraded SailPoint IIQ from version 8.2.p6 to 8.4.p2. Although we did not make any configuration changes to the Workday Application (Team Member), we have observed that the average runtime for aggregation has increased by 80% to 110%. Previously, the full aggregation took about 2 to 2.5 hours to complete; now, it takes approximately 4 to 6 hours.

Does anyone know if there were any significant configuration changes made to the Workday connector in the newer version? I would appreciate any insights.

Thanks @SivaLankapalli

@SivaLankapalli try one thing, if this happening in lower env also. then create a new workday connector and run aggregation to see the impact.

also compare the old vs new connector diffs. let us know.

Hi Kumar, Thank you for your inputs.
We are not sure about the measurements we obtained, as our non-production servers are limited. Typically, we see an average of 4 hours. I also compared the files in the repository and couldn’t find any changes before and after the upgrade.

Thanks,
Siva

Our investigation revealed that audit logging is enabled for the Identity class during update operations. Previously, we had only enabled it for creation operations. This is causing a load on the audit table and affecting performance as well.

Thanks,
Siva
