Workday Connector Aggregation Time Out

Hello everyone,

Over the past couple of months we have see some bizarre behavior after Workday pushes their bi annual updates. Before September this year the connector had been live for years with no issues. This is a new behavior that we are seeing since September.

Behavior:

Workday does their updates then around 24 to 48 hours later the connection ISC has with Workday will stop full Aggregations. Single account Aggregation still works and the Source is reporting back healthy.

The full aggregations will be down for 3+ days before it magically starts working again. Nothing changes.

Support Advised:

The Connector team recommended that we add aggregateTimeout to the source configuration. They asked that we set it to 30 mins.

Question:

Is this a normal time out? Has anyone else had to add this to their configuration? Has anyone else seen this behavior?

Hi @mpotti , this is not unheard of and doesn’t seem to be too long. Some REST or SOAP aggregations can act weird sometimes and ones that don’t handle paging well can, for whatever reason, fail one day when it worked previously without error. Hopefully this help mitigate what you are seeing.
