Aggregation Task is taking time

Recently we upgraded to the 8.4p1 version but we noticed that the aggregation tasks from authoritative source (LDAP) is taking twice the time it did before Has anyone faced the same issue while upgrading?

We had a similar issue with AD aggregation, and support said it should be resolved in 8.4p2.

There has been temporary fix, you can try it out.

My Understanding, this issue has been observed in past upgrades due to changes in the aggregation logic or schema handling. Users often resolve it by:

  • Adjusting LDAP connector filters to reduce unnecessary data.
  • Increasing resource allocation for the IdentityNow environment.
  • Ensuring compatibility with backend systems (e.g., upgrading the LDAP server or fine-tuning its configuration).

The LDAP search filters worked just fine in the previous version and i don’t see problems with memory neither. What could i do please?

We haven’t upgraded yet. The maxConnectionAge flag seems to help but not 100% of the time.

The maxConnectionAge flag doesn’t seem to help in our case and i looked up the 8.4p2 read me file it does not contain the fix to IIQETN-11462 mentioned on the compass thread above.

Does anybody have another solution please?
