Test Connection Failed - for JDBC, Web Services

Hello,

I have installed VMware Workstation Pro on my personal laptop and created a SailPoint Virtual Appliance (VA). The CCG is running and visible in the SailPoint UI. I also tested connectivity by pinging my local PC from the VA, and that works successfully.

However, when I try to run a test connection for both the JDBC and Web Service on-premise connectors, the test connection fails with the following error:

Requesting assistance — does anyone have any suggestions or insights on this problem?

if you think there is no firewall or other issues, increase the health check timeout to may be 90 seconds. check the connector doc on how.

Hi @Gaju123235 , I faced this previously while I was configuring my ambassador tenant…

In my case, the issue was with the network configurations try to ping Google or the tenant url from your appiance and see… since it’s your own VM, you need to edit the “/etc/systemd/network/static.network”

And actually I used this topic “https://developer.sailpoint.com/discuss/t/new-va-not-installing-in-devrel-tenant/91793/14“ specially @Arpitha1’s reply “maybe you will not have access to it because it’s in the ambassadors section - but just lemme know and I can copy and paste the steps for you from her replies“ if it’s the case for sure :slight_smile:
