SuccessFactor: Error while synchronizing the username to Successfactor

We have the scenario where customer has future dated Joiner. SailPoint is processing his Joiner event and provisioning to birthright target system and is generating the sAMAccountName which needs to be pushed into Successfactor’s Username. Now, until the user’s joining date is not reached, his successfactor account remains in disbled state and does not send the ‘username’ value during the aggregation. But when SailPoint tries to push/synchronize the username to successfactor, the synchronization fails with the error:
"“No employee data found or the service account doesn’t have entitled permissions to perform complete operation”.

But when the account becomes active in the Successfactor, the synchronization happens successful. I wanted to understand what is the issue in updating the username when account is disabled in Successfactor and how can we resolve this issue. Note: we are passing the native identity i.e. person_id.

Thanks & Regards

Hi @saurabh1503 - There may be additional permissions needed to update the SF record is in it’s disabled state before hire date. Are you able to see if SF has Manage Role-Based Permission Access applied to the Service Account and on the prehire record?
