Update SuccessFactors Attribute after creating another application account

Hello Team,

So, I have the authoritative source as SAP SuccessFactors, I have my configuration "Account Types to Manage: " as Employees.

When a joiner is getting aggregated, the userID and Username are coming as the Person ID.

What i want to do is that after completing the provisioning of the Active Directory to come back and create/update the SuccessFactors account with the same username of Active Directory.

Any idea how could we achieve that?

You can leverage the attribute sync functionality if you are promoting/using AD username as one of the identity attribute.

Or else you can use the after provision rule for the active directory application to push the username on SF from the rule. I would prefer the first option.

another option is to create a Business Role with Assignment Criteria as User Type as Employee and having AD Account (depending upon your business requirement), along with the base entitlement for SuccessFactor (is there is any). This will trigger Account Creation for all the employees for SuccessFactor after Identity Refresh (Refresh assigned, detected roles and promote additional entitlements and Provision Assignment)

I tried that, but its returning objectNotFound

The account is there, I think the account gets created automatic after getting inserted in HR.

What we are trying to achieve is to update the username.

I needed to create the AfterProvisioning Rule to update the username
