SSB/SSD from 8.3 to 8.4

Hello Experts,

We are working on upgrading our IdentityIQ environment. This is my second question related to the upgrade, as I posted one earlier. We have an SSB/SSD deployment, and in the custom folder, we have all our lifecycle events (e.g., joiner, leaver, disable, delete, etc.). I wanted to ask how I can retain the same custom folder when upgrading from 8.3 to 8.4. Are there any special considerations I need to keep in mind? Additionally, does 8.4 support SSB/SSD? Do I need to build the WAR file using Ant from scratch? When I upgraded from 8.2 to 8.3, I simply copied the custom folder into the IdentityIQ WAR, and it worked fine.

I have the 8.4p1 in my sandbox and 8.3p4 on custumers envirement and I dont have hove problems to deploy of different versions, obviosly the build config file are different.

Thanks Emanueke,Could you please describe whether I need to build a new WAR, or if I can just copy the custom folder and it will work?

if you SSB you can configure differente files for dofferente enviroments:

and you base folder, you can have different version of main zip or patches.
When you build, you can declare the SPTARGET variable with the name of the env that you deploy or build war.
