I’ve come across numerous situations where the SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) team is frequently requested to provide reports and data regarding downstream application access. It seems that the demand for these reports and data keeps growing over time. I’m curious to know if anyone has discovered more efficient methods of utilizing SailPoint IIQ to generate faster and more user-friendly reports.
Depends on the data you need to provide via report, but you can create custom reports or use OOTB reports in IIQ 8.3 IdentityIQ Reports Guide - Compass (sailpoint.com)

At one of my clients the IIQ Administrator is using Advance Analytics and setup the required filters/serach criteria and the Fields to display.
On the Search Result there is an option to ‘Save Search As Report’.
This is as far as I know the simplest way to create new reports

You may also want to check out my open-source JDBC reporting data source. I did a presentation about it at the Developer Days back in the spring. It allows you to write reports that are just regular SQL queries.
