Salesforce Attribute sync error

Hi Everyone,

Need help on Sales force attributeSync. When I tried to sync the Salesforce attributes, seeing below issue, Sync attributes are Stright from identity mapping and there is no transforms too.

Could you please check if sync has been enabled for two attributes with same name as “FirstName”? If possible, could u pls send the screenshot of attribute sync page?

I just mapped 2 attributes which is firstname and last name .And i see that getting for email also which i used transform in Identityprofile.

a record with the identical Name already exists also seeing the error or with different values also getting duplicate error.

Hi @saikumarS , could you check with the Salesforce team to confirm if they have implemented any rules to prevent duplicate entries for the FirstName field ?

There is no restriction from sailpoint.

Is there any restrictions from Salesforce ?

No prasanth , I spoke with salesforce team and they mentioned no restrictions for service accounts and fields.

Is “FirstName” unique attribute in salesforce? Is the issue specific for this user?

We are getting duplicate issue on salesforce connector during the attribute sync.

@saikumarS If you have access to salesforce target, try to update firstname manually, observe Is it allow to update or not

Salesforce team is able to update it in salesforce target.

and service account has all the permissions.

@saikumarS Are you getting this error for every user or only for particular user? bcz this error thrown by salesforce api

It’s saas or VA based connector . I have reverently used both connector on my need and don’t see any issue . Is this specific to particular user ?

I will suggest parallelly create a support case .
