I have a Refresh Identity task with the Sync Attributes option enabled.
When I run the task for a single user and then check Admin Console → Provision Transactions, I can see the corresponding attribute synchronization transaction for this user, including any failures.
Recently, I corrected some configuration issues that were causing an Access Denied error, and I now want to validate the fix by running a Refresh Identity task with Sync Attributes enabled for all identities. My expectation is to see synchronization results for all processed users in Provision Transactions.
However, after running the task, I can only find transactions for some users. When I run the task for an individual user, the transaction is displayed as expected. I reviewed the Refresh Identity task configuration and did not find any settings that would prevent all identities from being refreshed.
What should I check to determine why transactions are only being generated or displayed for a subset of users unless forced on specific user?
Additionally, if identities are being processed by different task servers due to load balancing, could this affect whether all Provision Transactions are displayed in the Admin Console for the UI server?
Can you enable the provision and attribute sync audit events in your Audit Configuration settings. Once enabled you should be able to see what is going on with each attribute sync event and if there is any failure.
Hello @SanjeevIAM ,
both are enabled
Additonally , same co figuration applied for both refresh tasks : refresh all identities, refresh one identity with filter
however if we took example for user X
when run refresh all identities , we found nothing about this identity in the provision transaction
when we refresk one identity and user X , the record displayed in the provision transaction
Ok do you see any audit event created for Attribute Sync action for this user X when you ran refresh for all identities. Can you navigate to Intelligence → Advanced Analytics → Select “Search Type” Audit and select Attribute sync for action with start date filter based on when you ran identity refresh and see if you see any attribute sync triggered for the user X.
@AlaaKhaled Could you please provide more details what all configuration we have for both tasks? Are there any difference in config other that user population? and what do you see in the task results?
@AlaaKhaled - Can you please share the task definitions of both tasks to see the selected options? Also please share the screenshots of both task results.
