Hi,

Good day. Just want to ask if what would be the impact from SailPoint IDN if we upgrade the S/4 HANA from version 1909 to version 2023?

Has someone experienced on this upgrade using IDN?

To be sure it all works as expected post upgrade, you can do the following:

  • Do the upgrade first in the lower environments, like ISC sandbox and S/4 HANA sandbox.
  • Validate post upgrade if the test connection works as expected.
  • Do a quick check with a test user for provisioning and deprovisioning accounts, access and attribute updates.
  • Test the enable/disable functionality for the accounts
  • Ensure aggregation for users and entitlements still works as you’d expect.

In addition to these usual checks, you can carry out any nuanced checks as applicable to your case for this application to complete your sanity and regression tests.
