Role assignment not appearing in event logs

I have a role containing one entitlement from AD Source. I have tried an identity list assignment criteria to assign this role to a some test users.

The issue I am experiencing is the fact that this role assignment is not appearing on the event logs but the entitlement assignment is present in the logs.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I noticed a while back that if an identity gets the role assigned after a bulk role sync (by clicking the apply changes button), it doesn’t show up in the event log. I only see it when it’s assigned by an identity refresH

Thanks for the reply Mark, I have tried also the identity refresh but still same issue, only the entitlement assignment shows in the events.
