Reports - Scheduled/Subscribed To

Hi! I did some digging and found nothing that would help me understand that when a report is created, some “stop” running.

Do ISC Reports expire? If so, what is the expiration timeframe?

I understand that if someone owned a report that others were subscribed to, leaves, and their identity is disabled, the reports would cease completely.

Thanks!
M

I’m assuming that you’re talking about scheduled searches. If so, yes, when you set up the schedule, you are required to specify an end date, and the default value is 1 year from when it is configured.

That’s definitely helpful. I am digging on a report that just disappeared, and cannot seem to find an event that says it expired… but this helps!

Hi @mebowen,

You would be better of using the scheduled-search API that would list all the scheduled reports in your tenant. The UI has the limitation of letting you see only the ones that the logged in user has configured.

You can also modify the report schedule or expirations with the Update API incase the report owner leaves the org.
