Removal of "Set Expiration(Sunset)" Date in Request Center in ISC

Hello Experts,
While raising requests for roles in ISC, we see an option “Set Expiration”.
Is there any way that we could remove this feature as i dont want to give my users this option.

Also, In our project, the UI for making access requests is Service Catalog(ServiceNow).
I am under the impression that if we remove the “Set Expiration” field in SailPoint, the “Sunset” date will be removed in Service Catalog.
Is this true or is there any workaround for this?

Seek your valuable inputs here.

Thanks,
Kartheek

I doubt there is any option to disable it, look at this topic:

Hi Kartheek,

No there is no possibility of restricting the set expiration button visibility.
For service catalog, although i am not an expert with this type of integration but believe you should be able to achieve it either via setting catalog properties properly in the connector or if that does not work, then you can double check the before provisioning rule to remove it from the provisioning plan.

Thank You.

Hi

Set expired date is related to role. Once time reached sailpoint remove that requested role. But this expiration date is not send to your target application.

Ref: Removing the Expiration Date from the Access Requests

If you want to avoid it by the user. Instead of using Sailpoint UI for requesting roles. use forms and workflows for request so can hide it from user.
