Removing the Expiration Date from the Access Requests

I am after some information regarding how we can remove the Expiration Date from the Access Requests.

When a user navigates to Request Center and requests for an app/role, the field “Set Expiration Date” is optional. If someone has entered a date in this field, is it possible to remove this date, either via GUI or API.

I haven’t been able to find any information so hoping someone here would know something

Unfortunately you can’t remove the “Set expiration date” field you can’t even modify that form as it comes OOTB with IDN.

HI Thanks,
My question was if a user has entered the expiration date on that form and the user is now assigned that app with that Expiration Date.

Now after the app has been assigned, can we remove the expiration date from that app assigned from user’s identity so that app doesn’t get removed on the said expiration date ?

Hello Umair,
I think we can’t remove or update the expiration date from the requests, once the request got provisioned. If the requests has not been approved, you can simply cancel the request and just create/submit a new access request without setting an expiration date. Below image might help you.
Access request

You can change the expiration date for requests for yourself or direct reports, but you cannot remove an expiration date on an already approved item. If the access request has not been approved, you can cancel it and submit a new one without the expiration. If it has already been approved, then you have to revoke the access and then re-request without the expiration.
