Proxy.yaml file not found in VA. Need to update

Hi Team,

We are attempting to configure the Atlassian Data Center connector to integrate with Jira Software. While reviewing the SailPoint Virtual Appliance (VA) configuration, we were able to locate the config.yaml file; however, the proxy.yaml file was not found in the SailPoint directory.

Could you please advise on the following:

  • How can we create or import the proxy.yaml file if it is not present by default?

  • Alternatively, is it possible to configure the required proxy and allow-list settings directly in config.yaml for this setup?

Regards

Nandini

Hi @nandiniks

You can used the attached proxy.yaml and update the as per your environment. For more details you con go through the documentation here. Configuring Virtual Appliances - SailPoint Identity Services
proxy.yaml.zip (345 Bytes)

Hi Ankush, we dont have that proxy.yaml in the VA currently. Should i create one with new entry?

Yep, you can create the new one or i would suggest you to download from the above my response or from the documentation link.

@nandiniks proxy .yaml is only needed if from the VA directly you cannot call the outbound URLS using port 443 .Please verify that first and if you your network has proxy then you can download the sample proxy.yaml and transfer the file to your VA and test the connection
