Dear Sailors,

I need to create a population based on the following conditions:

Active Directory attribute “accountExpires” equals “never.”
Additionally, I’m looking for suggestions and solutions on whether it’s possible to create a population based on the “Link” attribute, even though it’s not a searchable attribute. Your input and solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Rakesh Vadnala

I don’t think you can use an account (link) attribute to create a population. Neither with an Identity attribute that is not marked as searchable. Only way I can think of is to map the account attribute to an identity attribute and make it searchable

You can create a searchable extended attribute for the link (Global Settings → Account Attributes). Than is should be possible to this attribute in a filter.

If needed I can do a PoC on it.

Hi Nithesh Rao and Remold Krol,
Thanks for the reply.

I just wanted to confirm that we can’t do without a searchable attribute.
Thanks.
