is there a way to pause aggregation? or pausing account creation

I don’t think there is pause. But to stop

  1. From UI I believe there was a option to terminate aggregation.
  2. To stop account creation , disable automated roles. If you don’t have automated roles , go to identity profile and disable LCS so access profiles can’t be granted for a particular LCS.
  3. Apart from it from source config remove service account creds and save it. Source will go to unhealthy state and will not provision.

Note: Point 3 is not recommended as it might show lot of errors in access request

As @gourab mentioned, there is no option to pause an aggregation but you can terminate a running aggregation from the aggregation page itself.
Also, if you want the connector to stop account creation but still want a successful connectivity so that you can aggregate, you can give a non acceptable value to any of the mandatory attribute in the create account policy.
For eg; In Active Directory connector, you can give DN as a static word value.
But please note that this can create account creation fail events.

no way to pause, but you can just disable the scheduled aggregation and re-enable when required.
