Password Interceptor Proxy configuration flatcar proxy --- on dev demo tenant

I’m not able to telnet to my VA over port 8888, for the password interceptor to go through the proxy.

How do I configure the firewall ports to be open on flatcar? Or to make sure the proxy service is running? Or does it not ship with the dev demo VA download?

I already configured the proxy in the config.yaml
I rebooted the VA
The password interceptor is working on the DC
Unable to telnet to port 8888 from the DC to the VA
DC is also running SecurityIQ service and using the AD connector just fine.

Exception occurred while getting the access Token: Unable to connect to the remote server

Error Condition: Internal Error. Unable to fetch the access token

As this is a dev VA, where a different download is used in comparison to what a customer uses, I don’t know if SailPoint support would address this, thoughts?
