I am trying to implement the Oracle HCM Connector that SailPoint offers, I am wondering if anyone else has configured this previously and I have a couple of questions.
The Oracle HCM Cloud connector is using the combination of REST API, Atom Feeds and File Export to read the data from the Oracle Fusion HCM system
But what REST APIs can it read? Is it only limited to the /hcmRestApi/resources/11.13.18.95/workers API - or can we extend the scope on this via the connector - There is JSON Path Mapping section within the Connector but it doesn’t reference any other API Endpoint other than Workers within the docs.
My question more specifically focuses on the Attribute Mapping aspect of the connector.
Workers Attribute:
As this corresponds to the attribute within the Workers API in the Oracle Fusion HCM system - this mapping will be used to fetch the relevant data from the API which is then mapped within SailPoint.
However, can you extend the “Workers Attribute” to look at other API calls within the Oracle HCM system, like email and department for example (which isn’t in the /workers API call)
My last question would be, do you have to map the Workers Attributes within the connector or could you just rely on the CSV extracts from the SFTP Server?
