Description
Certifications play an important role in any access governance program. Almost any regulatory framework, organizations will have to comply with or will require some form of access review, approval and / or certification. The goal of this project is to make large amounts of information easily digestible so the reviewer can take quick actions to eliminate quickly a bulk of the approvals/bulk of the rejections allowing focus on access which should be scrutinized. This in turn should reduce risk of breaches and data-leakage due to over-provisioning and/or over-privileged access.
New Capabilities
Introducing campaign visualization - making large amounts of information easily digestible! Now reviewers have the ability to take quick actions, resolving a bulk of the approvals or rejections with one-click giving the reviewer the much needed time to focus on access which should be scrutinized.
Problem
During campaigns, reviewers are required to go over large numbers of access rights and make a governance decision to approve or reject that access. This can be a tedious process. In a majority of cases, there are quick identifiers (such as department, permission type, etc.) which can allow for bulk approval or bulk rejections to help remediate campaigns being as burdensome and avoid ‘rubber-stamping’.
Solution
Available now for all Access Certification Campaign Reviewers, simply head to ‘My Tasks’ and click on the campaign name. You will now see a view toggle which offers ‘Graph’
When toggling to Graph, you will see your campaign in a graph format. You can organize as desired based on the columns you selected to be available during the campaign configuration.
By clicking on any of the bars, a menu will popup allowing you to approve or reject access.
You can commit these decisions through the pop-up or commit all decisions found at the bottom right of the screen. You can also hone in on a particular grouping and convert back to a table to focus on those records.
Who is affected?
This feature is now available for all users which can access the Data Access Security and have a Access Certification Review assigned to them.
