Description
The latest enhancements to the MySailPoint homepage introduce a dedicated suite of Data Access Security (DAS) widgets alongside a new pre-built DAS dashboard template. These updates transform MySailPoint from a standard landing page into a unified, data-aware identity security command center by integrating critical insights about unstructured data access directly into the primary dashboard experience. This launch will focus on empowering Security Administrators, Compliance Officers, and IAM Admins to instantly detect access exposure, identify high-risk accounts with excessive permissions, and take rapid action to protect sensitive critical assets.
Problem
Users currently lack a unified view of their identity and data access security insights. Key metrics and alerts from Data Access Security (DAS) are not integrated into the main Identity Security Cloud (ISC) homepage, forcing administrators and security teams to switch between different interfaces to get a complete picture of their security posture. This separation makes it difficult to correlate identity governance information with data access risks efficiently.
Solution
To provide a centralized and comprehensive view, Data Access Security (DAS) widgets will be made available on the ISC homepage. Users can add individual DAS widgets to any of their existing dashboards or create a new custom dashboard dedicated to data access insights. Additionally, a pre-configured “Data Access Security Dashboard” template, which includes all available DAS widgets, will be provided to allow for quick and easy setup, ensuring all critical insights are accessible in one convenient location.
To view and customize, simple login to ISC. On the MySailPoint Homepage click Dashboards > Dashboard Templates and notice the new Data Access Security Dashboard option. From there, you can customize widgets as desired or add DAS widgets to other existing dashboards.
Deep-dive into each metric by clicking on the widget details which will direct you into Data Access Security forensics for further analysis.
Who is Affected
Please note the widgets will only be available for customers with an active DAS license.
