*The images in the screenshots above are in our header and footer templates. Prior to upgrading from 8.3 p5 to 8.5 they were being included correctly in email notification. After upgrading they immediately were not being included.

If I have just text in the header/footer template the text shows in the email. If I have just an img in the header/footer it is not included in the email (not showing in source code). If I have both text and img in the header/footer only the text is included in the email. It seems like IIQ is stripping the img from the email before it is sent.

As additional testing this morning, I added the code from the header directly into one of our email templates and the image showed correctly in the email. The question would be why this is no longer working when in header/footer template but works directly in the main email template after upgrading from 8.3 p5 to 8.5?

I suspect the template changes were corrupted during migration. We need to update manually from the previous version to 8.5; therefore, this will be a one-time fix.

We are going to tokenize the header and footer code and just add that to all email templates where the header and footer are currently called as a work around.
