Which IIQ version are you inquiring about?

8.x

Question: I have a user with standard and dedicated-admin account. These are two Active Directory accounts. Similarly I have two AD Security Groups .

Username: Jane Doe
Standard user account: janedoe
Admin user account: admin-janedoe

Standard Group: std-group
Privileged Group: priv-group

If anyone requests access :
admin-janedoe to be added to priv-group; once it is approved

Outcome:
admin-janedoe added to priv-group
janedoe added to std-group

How can this be achieved

I think you can manage it with an accountSelector rule on each role, where for the priv role you select only priv account and for the std only the std
