Hey does anybody know how many questions are on the IDN Professional Cert? Also what study materials did you guys use?
I have not taken the certification yet, I am also preparing.
I believe it is 60-65 questions with 90 mins duration and exam format is Discrete Option Multiple Choice (DOMC). You can find all the information from below community link.

Regarding Study Materials - Sailpoint provides an Exam Study Guide for both IIQ and IDN. You can use that and make sure you go through all the topics(in detail) covered in those guides. That information along with your hands on experience with the tool should help you clear it.

There are around 54 questions with time limit as 90 minutes

Based on having worked with numerous people that have taken this exam and shared their results, it appears the areas from the study guide vary in weighting (i.e. importance / contribution to final score). This is purely based on analysis of people that have passed/failed the exam over the last 2+ years so your results may vary.

Hey Ed thanks for the reply. I know the questions are DOMC. Are the questions anywhere close to the questions after each chapter in the essentials course?
I don’t have any specific test question knowledge, specific topics, hints, etc. and my best advice is the standard “Study the material, understand the material, and work with the system to confirm your understanding.”
I’ve never taken the Professional exam myself (I’ve only taken the Engineer - passed 2x in 2.5 years now) so I can’t comment on the specific questions, which would also be a violation of the standards I believe. The information provided is simply from my personal analysis of multiple test results from co-workers over the last 3 years so take it for what it is (or isn’t).
