Hi everyone,
I am planning to take the SailPoint IdentityIQ Engineer exam and would really appreciate some guidance on how to prepare effectively. Could anyone share the best study resources, practice materials, or tips based on your experience with this exam?
Hi @rowlandcarr,
I had some difficulty with SP certification. Because, after a while that you work on IIQ each response is: depend.
I think the best way is follow the course, because on certification they want the response that you can find into documentation or into the courses.
Hi @rowlandcarr
As per my experience of the exam, exam questions are asked based on the topics that have listed in the syllabus and practical questions are asked instead of theoretical. So, If you are good with concepts it would be easier to clear the exam.
Hi @rowlandcarr
I cleared my IdentityIQ Engineer exam after completing the university.sailpoint.com training videos. not just training video there are exercises to complete/practice after each topic.
The tricky or practical questions I remember—particularly those concerning task schedule sequence—were time-consuming.
I would suggest starting with the official SailPoint training modules and documentation to build a strong foundation. Also, try IdentityIQ Engineer practice tests from a reliable platform like P2PExams. It is best for strengthening your understanding and boosting confidence.
When I was preparing for the SailPoint IdentityIQ Engineer exam, I focused on understanding real-world implementation scenarios and hands-on configurations. Practicing with sample questions helped me identify weak areas and improve my time management. I personally used IdentityIQ Engineer practice questions by CertPrep for practice, and it gave me a good sense of how the actual exam questions are structured. Combining that with the official documentation worked really well for me.
I passed my exam and I’m so happy! After using several platforms, I found Certfiedumps the most reliable. Their questions were up-to-date and realistic.
Hi @rowlandcarr , Personally, I don’t recommend using any exam dumps as a preparation source. They’re usually in a grey area with the exam NDA, and in the end they only train you to memorise answers instead of really understanding IdentityIQ and how it works in real projects.
The safest and most useful approach is still:
-
Official SailPoint IdentityIQ Engineer materials and docs
-
Product guides / technical manuals
-
Hands-on practice in an IIQ lab
Have a nice and great one and good luck in your journey!
