This occurs when you try to provision salesforce access without “profileID”. This error will occur when you submit access request for new account creation. In salesforce, it’s mandatory to have one “profileID” assigned to each user. In Account schema mark “profileID” attribute as entitlement and make sure your Access Profile or Role has this “profileID” as entitlement.
I am not getting one thing how we can provision this profileid? Since we are not getting this VALUE FROM auth source? So youre telling me to just include this profile id attr in access prifile and then request that access prifile throught request center will it work ?
Nope, for sure we will get “profileID” from salesforce as its mandatory for each salesforce user to have. Check the account schema, there you will find this attribute and mark it as entitlement. Now add any one of profileID to your access profile and then raise the request.
ok so you are saying i need to goto entitlements in salesforce and seee any profile id entitlemnt and then add that in prifile?
that’s correct. check the type of the entitlement which should be “group“
it is correct it is group and entilemtn only but in entilements we dont find any profileid entielemts in salesfrocve?
so you’re saying the value of profile id we need to search in entilements. i tried one prifile id value for a user but it is not there in enetilement
I’m not sure if I’m not explaining it correctly. Do one thing, download the entitlements list.
In column F check if there are any groups. These groups are “profileID”. Now add any one of these groups to your access profile and then submit the request.
If you don’t have entitlements of “group” type, reach out to salesforce team.
thanks i got it once i download excel. And we can pick up any profile id and add to access profile for creating account? I also found at that when we added publicgroup type as well the count got created.

No, we cannot add any of profileID to access profile. We need to get that mapping from salesforce team. Eg., ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’ permissionSet should have ‘A’ profileID. Based on this mapping we need to create access profile
