Hi All,

I want to understand how “Full Text Index Refresh” Task works in IIQ 8.3.

We have developed a rule which can bulk update the roles “Descriptions” and "Display Name’, want to know do we need to run this task every time we update the role meta data.

yes, you need to run it every time when you update the role description / display name to allow end users to search in access request.

Hi @sunilasm
The “Full Text Index Refresh” task updates search indexes in IdentityIQ to reflect changes in Roles, Identities, Entitlements, and Applications.
And Yes – If you bulk update Role Descriptions or Display Names, the changes won’t appear in search results until the index is refreshed.
