File Access Manager Version 8.5.
Hi,
we are encountering an issue during the SailPoint File Access Manager (FAM) Server installation and would appreciate your assistance.
Issue Summary:
The installation consistently fails during the RabbitMQ installation phase at the step
SyncErlangCookieToUserStep , The installer attempts to copy the Erlang cookie from C:\Program Files\SailPoint\RabbitMQ\.erlang. Cookie to I:\.erlang.cookie and failing with error: “System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException: Could not find a part of the path ‘I:\.erlang.cookie’”
Environment
Product: SailPoint File Access Manager (FAM)
Installation Type: FAM Server
FAM Version: 8.5
Findings#
Erlang installation completed successfully.
RabbitMQ package extraction completed successfully.
Certificate generation completed successfully.
Installation fails only during the Erlang cookie synchronization step.
The installer appears to resolve the user home directory as I:\.
We are able to access the Administrative Client and the FAM UI.
How the installer determines the destination path for .erlang.cookie?
Whether HOME, HOMEDRIVE, HOMEPATH, or USERPROFILE variables influence this behavior?
If this is a known issue with the current FAM version. Any recommended workaround or hotfix.
If we can modify the credentials or uncheck manual credentials to use the automatic credentials for RabbitMQ service.
