Feedback Wanted: Developer Track at Navigate 2021

Are you a developer who would be interested in attending Navigate, SailPoint’s annual identity conference?

We are currently working on building a brand new track for developers at Navigate 2021, and we would like your feedback. Please let us know what you would like to see, what you would like to do, and who you would like to hear from.

We will be finalizing the developer track plan by 03/19/2021, so share your feedback here before then! If you’d like to share feedback privately you may also DM myself, anyone on the Developer Relations Team, or you can email us at [email protected].

We look forward to seeing you, virtually, at Navigate 2021!

Jordan,

I believe it would be helpful to see an presenter configure a project that is built on Rapid Setup go from “vanilla” IdentityIQ to a working model. The session could touch on the various features and functions SailPoint is introducing with the latest version of Rapid Setup from an implementer’s perspective. The presenter could explore the features in the order that an implementer would encounter them during the lifecycle of the project.

Definitely. You should have sessions based on the level of development. For example, basic session on enabling the Eclipse plugin, or stuff like how do you go about disabling an identity or searches that are not available in " Advanced Analytics" for example, “show all users with disabled applications”. Or translating a search filter from GUI to the beanshell or visa versa. Then advanced sessions about complex joiner/leaver Workflows with Workitems or actual quicklinks with GUI/form based workflows …

@jordan.violet I’m more than happy to do a session on using / getting started with the PowerShell Module.

Cheers,
