Error Affecting Every Identity

Hi all,

I’m encountering an error that appears to be affecting every identity in my Sandbox tenant, and it’s currently blocking some user testing involving contractor source accounts.

While troubleshooting, I keep hitting dead ends. The error references the ID e2c1d8c02e564af794ef7d59e8aa39e2, but I haven’t been able to locate any apps, roles, identities, sources, or identity profiles in my environment that match this ID.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue where an unknown object ID causes errors across all identities? Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hello @jared-fox,

I think I had a similar issue on one of my project. It was because I renamed the authoritative source without changing it inside the identity profile.

For example, if I reproduce the process in my tenant, it would be :

1. I have set my Employee’s Identity Profile with the Account Source HR_Database

Mapping view :

2. If I change the name of the authoritative source (from HR_Database to SIRH)

3. If I come back to my Employee’s Identity Profile, everything desappear

Did you changed the name of your authoritative source recently ? This could be the cause of you error message.
Also, can you check inside your identity profile if it is empty or not ?

I hope my post will help you
