Enhancement: Updated ARM Activity History Entries for Risk Analyses

Description

Risk Analyses in Access Risk Management (ARM) are foundational to our Separation of Duties (SOD) reporting capabilities. They provide insights into customers’ SOD risks, but the ARM platform has not traditionally done a great job of providing visibility into the steps involved in generating Risk Analyses.

This enhancement bolsters our current Activity History capabilities to showcase all of the steps involved in generating Risk Analyses as well as the status of each of those steps.

Problem

Previously, only certain system activities were recorded in Activity History within ARM, which created gaps in visibility and made it difficult for users to fully understand the entire sequence of operations for Risk Analyses. This also made it particularly difficult for customers, as well as internal support teams, to diagnose and troubleshoot issues without extras investigation from ARM engineering.

Solution

The Activity History module within ARM has been updated to include more granular steps involved in Risk Analysis generation.

Who is affected?

All ARM customers utilizing new ARM functionality and generating Risk Analyses. Legacy customers will not benefit from this enhancement.

This is a really valuable enhancement for Access Risk Management users.

Greater visibility into the step-by-step generation of Risk Analyses significantly improves both transparency and supportability. This update to the Activity History module will make it much easier for compliance teams and administrators to understand processing flow, diagnose failures, and track risk evaluation status without needing to escalate to engineering.
