Description
SailPoint is thrilled to announce a significant enhancement for customers utilizing the SAP Segregation of Duties (SOD) conflict check feature within Access Risk Management (ARM) as part of the ISC Access Request process. This new functionality is now generally available, and you can enable it for your tenant upon request.
Streamlined Integration for Improved Efficiency
This enhancement simplifies the integration between ISC and ARM by removing the outdated SOD analysis engine from the authorization details calculation process. Instead, it leverages the robust capabilities of the new scalable SOD engine.
Key benefits include:
- Single Rulebook Management: You can now eliminate the need to maintain two copies of your ARM rulebooks in both legacy and new formats. The new setup allows you to use the updated format for all levels of risk assessment—visible to Access Request reviewers in ISC and for detailed insights on SAP authorization within the ARM application.
Important Notes for Current Users
To take advantage of this enhancement, ensure that you already have an ARM Rulebook in the new format, which can be accessed via the RISKS > RULEBOOKS menu in ARM. If your current rulebook incorporates Mitigating Controls from the legacy format, you will need to import these into the new structure, available at RISKS > MITIGATING CONTROLS. If you need assistance with this import, please don’t hesitate to reach out by opening a support ticket.
Ready to Upgrade?
When you’re prepared to switch to this new process, please contact SailPoint customer support so they can enable the enhancement for you.
While the existing process will remain in place for some time to support our customers during the migration, we plan to gradually phase it out in the coming months. We encourage you to stay tuned for further updates as we move forward.
