Enhancement: Request Center Success Page

Description

:bangbang: We’re improving the post-submission UI navigation for access requesters!

We’ve enhanced and added to the navigation options offered when a user finishes submitting an access request, helping them get to the most common next actions faster.

We’ve had the Submit another request button for a while, but for users who are authorized to request for others, it wasn’t ideal, putting them back on the access selection page with the same target users as the prior request. Now that button takes users all the way back to the first step of the access request flow so they can more efficiently create a whole new request.

Plus, the success page offers a View My Requests option that goes straight to the user’s submitted requests, so they can immediately check their requests’ status, reviewing any SoD violation that might have been detected or seeing who will need to review and approve their request.

Note: Sometimes it can take a few seconds for the request to appear, so if it’s not there when you first arrive at the My Requests page, try refreshing the page.

Action Required?

No action is required for your users to get this new behavior.

Important Dates

This enhancement is already available in sandbox tenants and is being rolled out to production between July 2 and 7.

I have a tamper monkey script to add this ‘view my requests’ link after submitting an access request. Good that I can soon disable that bit of the script! Thank you for the improvement!

Though clicking on “Submit Another Request” would take back to the page with already requested user(s) selected, it would also maintain the filtered list of Accesses which would make it easy to change the users and submit the same request. Now, going back to landing page of request center will need us to filter the requests again which in my opinion is a step down in user experience

This would be a good blog post

@justinrhaines, it is not a blog post, but I have a presentation on using tampermoney in ISC. Not for this particular use case (which soon will not be necessary), for for adding links in search results (SailPoint has added this themselves for identities already, but I still miss it for roles and access profiles) Please see
