In sailpoint-service catalog integration, we see it takes 24 hours for RITM to get closed in service now. But for same request, we can see request get closed immediately in sailpoint.
Can anyone help me to understand if there is any configuration in plugin to close the RITM immediately after request closed in sailpoint..
Note: this is for delimited source and we have automation to provision and close the request
There is no “immediate” closure since ServiceNow has to periodically poll for the status of the access request.
However, the option right above Auto Approve Enabled should let you shorten the time between status checks
I would be careful setting it for too long because if the servicenow workflow will automatically cancel itself after a specific number of activity executions (usually 100)
@mcheek We verified the config in ServiceNow and its is 1440
Actually we see this 24 hours wait only when we make request for Delimited source access profile. It takes 24 hours for closed complete in ServiceNow even though the access requests is closed with in a hour.
But for other direct source access profiles, We see it gets closed complete immediately when access request is closed in SailPoint.
