Email Notification List - multiple emails sent for a template

New Account Provisioned Template is sending multiple emails to the user listed in the email notification list under the specific profile.

A customer is in UAT and see multiple emails being sent on an account creation. I believe they said they are getting three emails.

Any ideas on if this is expected when you have one specific user specified in the email notification list?

If not what might be triggering the multiple emails?

Account provisioned email is OOTB, it won’t trigger 3 times, not a chance.

Can you check if those 3 emails for same user or may be for different users ?

In test environments, we redirect emails to the SailPoint team not to the actual users.

The email notification list doesn’t seem to be updating correctly. I make a change in the UI to remove the existing and add the new one. If I go and export the configuration with vscode and search for the old email, it is still present.

I noticed on the AD connector that there was an option to email the account. As we were sending all emails to the email notificaiton list, I’m assuming this is why it also showed an unknown sender.

We would see an email being sent to the notification listed individual, one for the manager, one for the account user and then one for the notificaiton list.
