Email Identity Attribute is not getting updated as per the Transform for a specific identity

We have a transform for managing the identity attribute: email. This transform should update the email identity attribute with the HR Source (Workday) attribute in specific conditions .This transform is working for all identities.

However there is 1 specific identity for which the transform is not being calculated. We have verified that by trying to hardcode the attribute value in the transform.

We have tried to trigger the following events specifically to force an identity refresh so that transform would be re-calculated. But that has not helped.

  1. Running an unoptimized aggregation on Workday source

  2. Manually Processing the Identity

  3. Manually running Attribute Synchronization

  4. Assigning & revoking an Active Directory access profile to the identity

Is there anything else that can be tried.

Hi @pritidharasandoz

If I want to test a transform calculation on a specific identity, I use the “preview” function in the identity profile mappings section. That will calculate all transforms when you select that user. If it’s not being set there, I would look at the identity profile that’s assigned to that user and be sure the transform you have is selected in that identity profile’s mappings.

Hi @pritidharasandoz Look at the Identity using the API and see if there’s anything weird in there.

You didn’t say, when you hardcoded it, did it work?

Also, WD email addresses can be of different types. I take it you’ve confirmed the WD data?

@j_place , No it didnt work when we tried to hardcode the value in the transform. On doing a preview in the identity mappings, the old value was there…the transform did not seem to have been picked up by the identity

Hi @pritidharasandoz What does your problem identity look like via the API? Anything weird in the work email? Also check time stamps
