Discovery Completed
Thank you to everyone who joined and shared feedback on Machine Account Provisioning in ISC. Your input was invaluable and this discovery is now closed. We’ll carry your insights forward into design and development.
Business Problem
Organizations create thousands of machine accounts each year. Most are service accounts, but others include bots, generic accounts, and agents. Today, these accounts are typically created through external tools like ServiceNow, custom forms, or manual processes, leading to inconsistent practices and ungoverned accounts.
Sound Familiar?
If your organization manages a large number of machine accounts, you’ve likely experienced challenges such as inconsistent creation processes, manual hand-offs, gaps in governance at the time of creation, or risky and unclear processes for deleting accounts once they are no longer in use.
Get Involved
We’ve already developed requirements and mockups for both machine account creation and deletion flows, and now we’re ready to put them in front of you. This is your chance to help shape the future of SailPoint’s Machine Identity Security.
During the call, our Product Management team will:
- Walk you through the proposed UX mocks for machine account creation and deletion flows.
- Gather your feedback on whether they meet your needs and where we can improve.
- Ask how approvals should work in your environment.
- Discuss any must-have scenarios we should account for.
Schedule a call to see the mocks and provide insights specific to your business needs. If you don’t see a calendar opening that aligns with your availability, feel free to send me a direct email at natalia.yunusov@sailpoint.com.
Thanks in advance for your input and participation and we can’t wait to hear from you!
