Delimited File - Generate a task for each operation for an identity

Hi team.

We noticed that when generating tasks for delimited files, ISC groups together tasks for creating multiple sources for the same identity. Our client needs a task to be created for each source.

Is there a way to create a task for each source of an identity separately?

Hello @ArielM ,

Tasks are grouped and created based on the source owner. I believe all the sources listed in the screenshot have the same owner. That is why the tasks are grouped together and assigned to a single person. This is the expected and default behavior.

If the sources have different owners, then individual tasks will be created and assigned to the respective source owners.

Hello Ariel. Adding to @JackSparrow’s answer, I would first confirm that MASTER, VISA, and AMEX all have the same Source Owner. For Delimited File sources, manual provisioning tasks are assigned to the source owner. Provisioning Overview

I also do not see a supported option to force one Task Manager work item per source when the owner is the same. The Work Items API manages existing work items but does not provide a create or split operation.

HI Ariel,
it seems there is no OOTB method to assign the task per source for single identity, As its the disconnected source and it targets the grouped tasks. So need to check the provisioning cloud rules etc. or need to check with SailPoint support.

That’s correct we’re using the same owner for each of the sources.

I’m going to open a support ticket to see if there’s another option.
