Has anyone experimented with the new Define Variable operator in workflow? i’m not sure of its intended use case. I’m look to parse through an object returned from “get accounts” and pull out the source name only into a variable. is that something this is capable of doing in it’s current state?

Is this “Define Varaible” Operator ready to use?
I’m trying to add 10 days to the existing deadline through workflow.
It is still in beta, but you can use it now.
To add 10 days to a date, you can configure it as follows.
Your new variable will appear in the variable selector for use in subsequent actions.

Hi,
I tried Define variable operator to concat my firstname and lastname and tried to use the custom variable in my subsequent action “send email”. When I click open variable selector on send email, I’m receiving an error (attached). when I clicked ok and moved on to select attributes from “Define Variable” I’m not able see any attributes populated.

@chandramohan27 Try the following.
- Delete the Send Email action and drag a new one onto the canvas. It’s possible you have an old version of send email that doesn’t work with define variable.
- If that doesn’t work, please submit a support ticket to check if that feature flag is enabled in your tenant.
